Austin Sports Club Opens as Luxury Dining ‘Club’

Austin Sports Club, a new luxury “sports club” restaurant, officially opened on September 10 at 205 E. 3rd St. The establishment is part of Lobos Hospitality, known for its other Austin venues, and has been developed in partnership with Boardroom Hospitality, owned by former NBA star Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman. The space offers a dimly lit, exclusive atmosphere with an American steakhouse menu and sports themes. Along with Durant and Kleiman, Joe Gebbia, co-founder of Airbnb and part owner of the San Antonio Spurs, has joined in this endeavor.

Austin Sports Club aims to reimagine the traditional American athletic club as a modern gathering place for sports fans. Its design, led by Petermax Co., features midcentury silhouettes and a predominantly brown color palette. The restaurant’s menu includes dishes like ribeye from Snake River Farms, grilled branzino, chilled lobster rolls, and cacio e pepe arancini, as well as unique sharable plates, including caviar paired with tater tots. The beverage selection features themed cocktails, craft beers, and rare spirits, alongside a weekend brunch.

The restaurant is open Mondays through Thursdays from 5-10 pm, Fridays from 5-11 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 11 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 10 pm, with brunch available on weekends until 4 pm.
